That Boy had a wobbly tooth tonight: he wasn't impressed that this prevented him from licking his lips. Put him to bed after a quick run-through of Harry The Dirty Dog, who changes from a white dog with black spots to a black dog with white spots. Then out the tiny tooth popped -- actually extracted by G. -- and placed carefully under pillow. But no pound coin to hand so I "borrowed" one from The Boy's money jar. That is to say, an attempt to capture past(a) events before they slip... my... mind. January 2007 was spent:

• watching the special edition Thick Of It twice
• being mildly disappointed by May Contain Nuts
• staying up to finally watch Kill Bill, Vol. 1: go Uma
• guessing the Dr Who episodes for each Murray Gold track
• catching up with Calendar Girls from the Crimbo recordings
• scratching my neck endlessly
• being absorbed by Billie and Julie in Ruby In The Smoke
• greatly enjoying House Of Storms though let down by the typos
• passing a pleasant time watching Wind In The Willows with the kids
• hearing the sound of cello & flute upstairs

And that was January 2007.
